Company Director and Freelance Principal Medical Writer with over 26 years of experience as a technical and medical writer in regulatory writing for pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Experienced in all phases of clinical trial and for a broad range of therapeutic areas.

Having worked as a Biomedical Scientist / Technical Writer at the Defence Evaluation Research Agency (DERA) I gained invaluable experience in biomedical research, data analysis, protocol and technical report preparation. I then joined a mid size Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) as a Medical Writer and progressed to Senior Director. Over time I built I up the Medical Writing Department to what became a successful, high quality and efficient provider to a wide range of clients. I then progressed on to to offering freelance Medical Writing support with my own company - Iatrike Medical Writing & Consultancy Limited, based in York, United Kingdom.

Always keen to learn and develop I keep a close watch on regulatory advancements and am experienced working on a wide range of documents for clients 'globally'.
